As part of services related to the development and implementation of management accounting and reporting systems, we implement projects in three core areas:

• Improvements to management information systems (MIS): unification of management reports, creation of a unified reporting classifier, development of unified methodologies for calculating performance indicators (based on the principle of “one version of truth”), and also improvements to data collection and report preparation procedures. We assist with the development of corporate data warehouse structures, IT selection, staff training and the implementation of management reporting systems.
  
• Development of cost calculation methodologies and models: improvements to cost calculation methodologies to provide more accurate estimates of product profitability and facilitate cost management. We develop models and make cost calculations for key decision-making: price rises or price cuts, buy-or-make decisions, the outsourcing of separate processes. A separate task is to assist with fair transfer pricing calculations for the services of management companies of holding structures. We apply an activity-based costing approach to the development of cost calculation methodologies and models.
  
• Development of management accounting methodologies for the implementation of management accounting in parallel with the financial accounting system. Our experience shows that some companies have to develop management accounting parallel to their existing financial accounting through a fully-fledged transactional system. We can design such systems, after developing a management accounting policy, chart of accounts, methodologies and manuals and also assist with the selection of an IT platform, development and implementation. We recommend that our clients develop management accounting policies close to international financial reporting standards (IFRS).
